1990 Steve Potts Cross Country Racer

Hey! Just got that "Congratulations you Won!" email and was thinking, "what did I bid on?" and then remembered the bid I through out on a kinda beat Potts CCR. Great all around bike with beautiful detailing. Nice too that I have an extra Type II built by Steve somewhere in my pile.

Wilderness Trail Bikes modified Hi-E hubs

One of the earliest offerings from Wilderness Trail Bikes was this hubset which is largely a rebranded version of Charlie Cunningham's modified Hi-E's. I have a set on a Swift (Steve Potts/ Mark Slate collaboration) but was happy to find this set with decals.

Suntour BMX XC pedals

A later favorite of riders and builders was the Suntour XC Compe pedal. Before the XC Compe was this Suntour BMX pedal. It looks like the Compe but with a matte black axle and silver cages. These will probably go on the Breezer.

Duopar Eco rear derailleur

This was the choice of many early mountain bike builders. It was famously fragile and from my initial inspection, doesn't appear to have great action. Still, it is the right part for a restoration. This is slated for my 1982 Ritchey Mountainbikes Everest.

XTR M900 1.125 Headset

Have - first generation Merlin Newsboy and last generation Ibis Type II fork. Just needed the "glue" to bind them. Enter this elegant M900 headset. Still the best looking XTR. It was cheap because of the less typical size. Heck, I've seen STX headsets go for four times the price and that ain't no joke.

Specialized HX-22 wheelset

Specialized sealed bearing hubs are so great. So smooth, so beautifully finished. The Saturae HX-22 rims are great too. Not complete sure what I will do with this wheelset which is probably from 1985 or 86 but it will find a good home.

Vintage Ideale Titanium Saddle

Very neat, though a little scary, vintage saddle. Apparently it was one of the first titanium railed saddles. The shell has a nice hammock-like give too. I am using it on my early Cunningham restoration that is moments from completion.
